In a surprising crossover event that challenges traditional predictions, the game developer has announced an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the authorized statement, "An unusual encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome metamorphoses reverberate through the darkness." The plot introduces a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret cult.
The adventure focuses on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses
The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Prizes and Extra Features
Players who finish the adventure will obtain an exclusive katana together with multiple items secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
